#34 WebRTC browser support

The current EC2-based Asterisk integration with WebRTC lacks support by certain browsers. We know that

• Firefox, v33 and v36 are working; v37 is not working
• Chrome v42.0.2311.135 m, v42.0.2311.152 m is working
• Safari v8.0.5 10600.5.17 is working with the following WebRTC plugin

Dear Robert,

I verified that v38 is causing issues with longer conversations (similarly to Chrome, prompts are completely dropped). Downgrading to v36 fixed the issue. Now, this is where we stand:

v36: 4s rule
v37: no audio at all
v38: first prompt consistently played; later audio is subject to dropping

@Robert, could you please reach out to the Firefox team to bring this up? The person who "fixed" the bug introduced in v37 should know best what is going on and could help resolving the issue once and forever!
