This python code is designed for Dual Digital Multi Channel Analyzer https://www.caen.it/products/dt5780/.
For internal communications with the MCA it uses low-level c-library https://www.caen.it/products/caencomm-library/ .
It provides flexible control over DT5780 module, including High Voltage supplies, trigger, coincidences, digital processor & readout configuration.
GUI allows to preview the signals, run data acquisition, observe amplitude spectra and counting rates, etc.

Simple Python wrapper for CAENCOMM library.
Qt based GUI for CAEN DT5780 operation.
Independent control and monitor for two High Voltage Power Supplies.
Full control over trigger settings.
View signals and tune DPP parameters.
Measure amplitude spectra, with manual or auto acquisition periods.
Measure counting rates for two channels and three amplitude ranges.
Designed and tested with Linux, requires pyQt6 and matplotlib.
Supposed to work but never was tested with Windows.
