Hi Martijn,
it is no problem store the Y-Array of every waveform separately in an dataset. And T0, dt and the waveform attributes as attribute of the dataset. Similar tdms.
The TDMS vi's make a type check of the variant types and accept only 'known' types.
For a multichannel waveform (same T0, dt) also a multicolumn dataset is possible.
