I worked a bit on the Histogram stuff, almost I impoved the calculation kernel myself to do a more precise work. Actually I had a look at the libgsl histogramm stuff -- but unfortunately it is of no help doing the work itself, it just manages histo data and provides some analysis data from that:-( so I do not need it right now.
Next step is a better user control dlg. I'm thinking on a removal of the always asking dlg and using a automatically calculated bin number or using a predefined on if needed:
So what I'm planning is to use the configure (Tools->Plug Details->Histogram->Configure)
option to set the default behaviour in a more sophisticated way.
I'm afraid the config dlg is quit hidden (and unknown by most users???) in the PlugIn Details stuff... Any Idea how to improof that in general?
- Better Docu ?? -- but this does not make it more intuitive...
- Some how a automatically generated menu containing all configurable PlugIns, but where, I've no good idea now.
