Hi Bill, Since other applications are running OK, your sound driver must be fine. Here's something to check -- Under Setting->Miscellaneous, check what you have for an audio device. For OSS it is normally "/dev/dsp". For ALSA (as you have it configured) it should be "plughw:0,0" Let us know if that was the problem, and it should get added to the help file.
