I take back half of what I said about the radical tool box: while I still prefer the "button style" for each radical , i like the fact they are now bigger than before and by consequence, easier to distinguish.
if possible i'd like to have the ctrl +/- shortcuts to works with the radical tool box too, to be abl to further enlarge the radical at will

The button style was axed for ~3 reasons. It made the window take forever to show up on my screen because of the huge redraw time, it slowed down searches because of the redraw time, and it forced the window to be bigger than would fit comfortably on my netbook.
+/- may be possible. I am thinking up a redesign of the window though. I want to create a toolbar that appears when you move to the kanji dictionary and will be able to set the numbers for strokes/frequency/grade etc and perhaps be able to open the radical search window with a button.
Buttons are back. I plan on redesigning the radical search tool, but it hasn't happened yet. I want to turn it into it's own widget so it can be optionally opened in a pane inside of the main window. Maybe also add better search capabilities and a stroke range
