Gusanos 0.9 is coming soon. No, this project isn't dead, its currently being rewritten, as much of the 0.8 code base was "dirty" (aka "hacked"). Expect to see many more features in Gusanos 0.9, such as better network support, a online game lobby, weapon scripting, menus, and more!

After a long wait GUSANOS 0.8b is finally out. Thankyou to all those who helped in the testing of the software, and those who contributed code or comments to improve GUSANOS. A big thanks also goes out to those who have been patient waiting for the new release of GUSANOS, you will not be disappointed.

Many new features have been added into 0.8 such as network support, dynamic lights, flowing water, various weapon effects, health/weapon crates and a minimap. GUSANOS now also fully supports GNU/Linux systems, and should be portable to many other platforms.... read more
