Hello,
This might sound a very strange problem. I installed
Apache 2.2 and PHP 4.2.2 on my WinXP machine today so
that I can start developing my new personal website.
I decided to use Gunther CMS
(http://gunther.sourceforge.net). The website is not
working for last 24 hours from India.
I checked and double checked that PHP and MySQL binding
for PHP are working by writing couple of sample PHP script.
When I start the Gunther installation page for the
first time from FF, it always takes me to
http://p2p.cs.mu.oz.au/software/Localhost/ when I type
in the browser: http://localhost. Ideally, it should
take me to http://localhost//admin/login.php as this is
the first time installation. But if I remove the
index.php from Gunther and write my own index.php with
a simple phpinfo(), it shows the data correctly.
But on IE, it correctly takes me the installation
script of Gunther.

If you notice ff.png, then there are two // after
localhost. Is that a problem? Also, I directly go to
the page: http://localhost/admin/login.php, it shows
the installation page but after I give my username, it
again goes to the Localhost Azureus site.
I have couple of extensions installed in FF but nothing
on IE (I dont even use it).
I did a complete scan of my system for spywares but my
anti-spyware tool shows the whole machine as clean.
What can be wrong?
