Well I figured it out. Here is how you do it: 1. In /etc/network/interfaces comment out the bnep interface Add 'auto wlan0' above the wlan0 line. 2. In /etc/pcmcia/wireless.opts go to the end of the file. Change the default group to look like the following: case "$ADDRESS" in *,*,*,*) INFO="My Wireless LAN" ESSID="My_ESSID" MODE="managed" RATE="auto" KEY="Put key in here if you use one. empty if not." ;; esac Works like a charm!
