Are you using the denzil or master branch of meta-ti? From: Nick Wernicke [mailto:nic...@gm...] Sent: Wednesday, November 07, 2012 5:45 PM To: General mailing list for gumstix users. Subject: Re: [Gumstix-users] Adding meta-ti to yocto I've only been trying to get the (3.2 kernel) jumpnow-console-image to build with the ti dsp stuff added in. I haven't run across that particular error yet. The errors I have come across so far have been that one DVSDK thing, and replacing instances of "${TOOLCHAIN_PATH}" with the path to the external toolchain built with the "bitbake meta-toolchain" command. My latest problem is with ti DMAI. There is an error in fetching the code source from the gforge.ti.com<http://gforge.ti.com> website. I'm not sure why, but the DMAI seems to use a different method for building than the DVSDK. With the DVSDK I just had to download that .bin file and add a .done file to the downloads folder. I don't know if i will be able to solve this new problem, because I have a heck of a time understanding what is going on in the recipe files. There is some really complex code there! Chris Whittenburg made it all sound so easy. Subject: Re: [Gumstix-users] Adding meta-ti to yocto Put the file and .done text file in "{oe yocto directory}/poky/build/downloads/" The checksum issue appears to be fixed. I checked them according to the procedure on the jumpnow site, and it built without me having to change anything. You have to manually download this file. There is a click through processes at TI that you go through. Because it is export controlled. Once you have the file down you need to set a couple of checksum files so bitbake will not try to download it again.
