Hi Adriano, I've also seen this message but with newer hardware packs, I believe it goes away (certainly, I don't remember seeing it on the last few monthly hardware pack). I think the message is due to a configuration error in the kernel for the i2c communication with the PMIC. Do new linaro hardware packs work better for you? If not, we should file a bug. -Ash On Mon, Oct 3, 2011 at 3:54 AM, Adriano Pallavicino <adr...@gm...> wrote: > Hi, i'm using linaro 11.09 on my gumstix overo fire. > kernel version is 2.6.38-1003-linaro-omap > My board is working fine, can connect to wpa/wpa2 network wifi, play and > record sound, etc. > Sometimes (randomly) i get these messages (in the example i'm downloading an > Ubuntu image from official web page with wifi connection). > The connection seems to freeze for an istant then wget resume to download > the file. > 9% [==> [ 1038.530883] twl: i2c_read failed to > transfer all messages > [ 1038.545806] twl_rtc: Could not read TWLregister E - error -11 > 46% [=================> ] 334,688,834 179K/s eta 39m > 26s [ 2712.527679] twl: i2c_read failed to transfer all messages > [ 2712.541351] twl_rtc: Could not read TWLregister E - error -11 > 47% [=================> ] 340,578,434 177K/s eta 38m > 46s [ 2745.527526] twl: i2c_read failed to transfer all messages > [ 2745.541076] twl_rtc: Could not read TWLregister E - error -11 > 60% [======================> ] 431,708,834 168K/s eta 28m > 55s [ 3259.527313] twl: i2c_read failed to transfer all messages > [ 3259.540802] twl_rtc: Could not read TWLregister E - error -11 > Any idea?
