The RaspberryPI thing really is like a gumstix on steroids, it's designed for Kids to be able to use a computer as a computer not a spreadsheet/wordprocessor i.e. learn computing not typing. They are hoping to produce more computer scientists/engineers. I've hopefully wangled an alpha/beta of these. I'll do a review if folks will find it usefull. http://www.raspberrypi.org/ Lets hope they do well it will be great to know the next generation of kids will be technically literate! Either way it'll do very well for us slightly older kids!! ;) John A --- On Wed, 10/8/11, AKS <aun...@gm...> wrote: From: AKS <aun...@gm...> Subject: [Gumstix-users] When will new Gumstix board with 1GHz CPU and 1GB RAM?
