I'm currently trying to work out how I can use one of the OVERO UART's to communicate with an external device whose baud rate is fixed at 460800 baud. Based on the OMAP TRM, this rate should be possible, however it doesn't seem to be supported by the default kernel configuration. There was a patch referenced in a similar mailing list discussion around a year ago (http://old.nabble.com/Overo-Air-UART-data-rate-td28090272.html), but it's not clear whether this patch was ever made to work on the OVERO modules. Has anyone had success making an OMAP UART work at baud rates greater than 230400? If so, I would be grateful for any info you provide. Many thanks! Best Regards, Dave Billin |
