Hi there, I am working on connecting wight scale (with bluetooth) to my gumstix. Weight scale acts as the master and initiates the connection. I am running bluetooth client python program. However, I am not able to establish connection between these two devices. I searched a lot across the web for the solutions but I didnt find solution which can work for me. Even every post on Old Nabble doesnot work for me. Below is files I have modified with hope of solving above problem: a) I added file hcid.conf (which was not there) and have changed to following: options { autoinit yes; security none; pairing multi; passkey "391*&^*" } device { name "PWAccessP"; class 0x000000; iscan enable; pscan enable; lm accept; lp rswitch, hold, sniff, park; } b) changed rfcomm.conf rfcomm0 { bind yes; # peer device BT address device 00:A0:96:2A:68:57; channel 2; } c) Added file called pincodes at path /var/lib/bluetooth/<BT_ADDRESS>/ This file has bd address and corresponding passkey. d) changed file: /etc/default/bluetooth HCIATTACH_ENABLE=true HCIATTACH_TTY=ttyS1 HICATTACH_TYPE=csr HCIATTACH_START_SPEED=115200 HCIATTACH_SPEED=115200 HCIATTACH_HANDSHAKE=noflow HCID_ENABLE=true HCID_CONFIG="/etc/bluetooth/hcid.conf" SDPD_ENABLE=true HIDD_ENABLE=false #HIDD_OPTIONS="--master --server" HID2HCI_ENABLE=true RFCOMM_ENABLE=true RFCOMM_CONFIG="etc/bluetooth/rfcomm.conf" DUND_ENABLE=false DUND_OPTIONS="--listen --persist" PAND_ENABLE=true PAND_OPTIONS="--role GN --service PANU --connect REMMOTE_BT_MAC --persist" I think thats all I did at my end but still not able to connect to weight scale. Please please help me figure out how to connect my Gumstic Overo with bluetooth enabled weight scale.
