I'm using the Tobi board and the built in angstrom image. We had an Asix Cisco Ethernet dongle up on the A port and working. We had the same dongle connected to the OTG port (with a pin 4/5 shorted AB to A receptacle adapter) and it saw the device, but it complained that the OTG port did not have enough power to drive it. The errors below look to me like there was a communication problem with the device after the negotiation. You got as far as adding the device to the hardware tree before it failed. Some of the devices we work with cause that when they aren't quite ready when we probe for a mac address. (the call to get the mac address fails). It would be useful to get a beagle analyzer (the cheap one that does 12Mb only would work). I don't know about the USB implementations on android. Many of the phones don't support host (like samsung). Did you look into alignment issues? I believe arm has alignment issues with DMAs on networking. We had to make those changes for beagle. So it would apply to gumstix. Steve On Mar 30, 2011, at 2:43 PM, Kevin Kowalewski wrote: > Hello, > > I am having loads of problems getting USB consistently working on the gumstix platform.
