Hi All I have been following the instructions on the Gumstix wiki (http://wiki.gumstix.org/index.php?title=Caspa_camera_boards) for using a Caspa camera with the omap3-console-image linked on the same page. I am running into some trouble when actually trying to use the camera with the lines: export DISPLAY=:0.0 gst-launch v4l2src ! xvimagesink or mplayer tv:// -tv driver=v4l2:device=/dev/video0 there seems to be lots of stuff missing in the image. I was wondering if anyone had managed to get a Caspa going in the console image and if so what do I need to download using opkg? Thus far I have downloaded: opkg install gstreamer opkg install mplayer opkg install kernel-module-v4l2-common opkg install kernel-module-v4l2-int-device Probably need more. I have also tried using the Desktop image which worked fine. The selected image will eventually be used for a small robot without a screen - is there any speed advantage in using the console image over a desktop image?
