Hi Ash, Looking through. I managed to log onto the device and get the revision number for the release. It seems to be setup using the older buildroot setup (and quite old at that). The release was 1083M. I've managed get the old 1083 revision from the SVN (buildroot). After fixing some bugs and compiling the tools, i've managed to get the existing code to compile. Whether that runs or not is another test :). I'm not sure if i'll be able to load new kernels onto them sadly. (Not sure if i'm allowed to stuff around with that, in case i break it). The windows build tools will be the old versions so I'd have to go rebuild all of them aswell.
