The board shown in the video is running the "palmtop" image, while new Overos come preflashed with the "desktop" image(unless you added a remark or such to your order), which might be the desktop you are seeing. Prebuilt images can be obtained here: http://www.sakoman.com/feeds/omap3/glibc/images/overo/ And instructions for booting them off a SD card: http://www.gumstix.net/Setup-and-Programming/view/Overo-Setup-and-Programming/Creating-a-bootable-microSD-card/111.html As well as instructions on how to flash these images to your board's internal memory(NAND): http://www.gumstix.net/Setup-and-Programming/view/Overo-Setup-and-Programming/Writing-images-to-onboard-nand/111.html I have used these guides before and they worked for me, so make sure if you are following all of the procedures correctly. > Hi Ash, Doug or Alex, > > How come I don't get this desktop instead of the Angstrom > Enlightenment? > > http://www.youtube.com/user/GumstixEngineering#p/a/f/0/Ttfyal1Lpko > > Thanks. > > -- > > ======================= > Liem Leong > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > Nokia and AT&T present the 2010 Calling All Innovators-North America contest > Create new apps & games for the Nokia N8 for consumers in U.S. and Canada > $10 million total in prizes - $4M cash, 500 devices, nearly $6M in marketing > Develop with Nokia Qt SDK, Web Runtime, or Java and Publish to Ovi Store > http://p.sf.net/sfu/nokia-dev2dev > _______________________________________________ gumstix-users mailing list gum...@li... https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/gumstix-users |
