Hi, When I first got the Overo Earth someone else had set it up. The release they had put on the SD card was a little buggy and froze often so I decided to put a different release on it. I went through the instructions here: http://www.gumstix.net/Setup-and-Programming/view/Overo-Setup-and-Programming/Creating-a-bootable-microSD-card/111.html but all I get when I set up a console session is two lines of garbage when I boot and nothing else. I've read in the archives that this means my NAND has become corrupt so I need to boot from my SD card to fix that. I've gone through creating the bootable SD Card numerous times and still all I get is the two lines of garbage. I've tried two difference releases and I get the same thing. I'm setting up my console session as described in: http://www.gumstix.net/Setup-and-Programming/view/Overo-Setup-and-Programming/Getting-started/111.html I have no idea how to approach the problem or what to try next. I'm completely new to this so any help would be appreciated! Thanks, Shannon |
