Hi Arun, 2010/2/19 தங்கமணி அருண் <tha...@gm...>: > i have done my buildroot setup for Xscale PXA255 CPU using this link: > http://docwiki.gumstix.org/index.php/Buildroot > > But by default build root used "uclibc" and the tool chain also build > using the same. > > I want to use "glibc" as my base library instead of ulibc. > > kindly guide me on this. First - you'll need to build your own glibc based toolchain. Buildroot only knows how to build a uClibc based toolchain. crosstool is good for this: <http://www.kegel.com/crosstool/> Then you'll need to make a bunch of patches, like the ones mentioned in this email <http://lists.debian.org/debian-embedded/2005/04/msg00059.html> I wouldn't expect the patch file to apply directly. I remember going through and manually applying all of the patches. In order for this to be successfull, you'll probably need a pretty good working knowledge of buildroot, because it's highly unlikely that it will work the first time around, and you'll need to figure out why. -- Dave Hylands Shuswap, BC, Canada http://www.DaveHylands.com/ |
