Hi, Your lucky guy, I completed it yesterday. You need to write a script in */etc/init.d/* folder. You have the choice of your script's name. Then you run the command line *update.rc-d scriptName defaults* . It will generate two files, which names begin by a 'K' or a 'S'. The K named files are used when the system is shutting down or rebooting. The 'S' ones are for starting. Now let's see how to write this kind of script properly: http://programminglinuxblog.blogspot.com/2008/01/init-d-template-all.html You can also define variables in your script but you have to report them as well in a file with the same name as the script name (here *scriptName*) and located in the folder : */etc/default/* . Now you just have to read some files in your */etc/init.d/* and */etc/default/ *directories to know how to custom your scripts. For managing your Wifi device : if you use this command to start the wifi manager: *wpa_supplicant* *-D **deviceType** -i **interfaceName** -c /etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf -Bw * *iwconfig* gives you the *deviceType*, (i think it's marvell) and also * interfaceName*. Most import you need to define the file * /etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf. * This web site will help you in writing your *wpa_supplicant.conf: *http://linux.die.net/man/5/wpa_supplicant.conf* * Hoping, it will interest you. Nice day ;-) !!! 2009/9/14 Anch <mu...@ym...> > > Hello, > I am using a verdex pro with wifistix.
