Hello, I got the precompiled bootloader from :http://docwiki.gumstix.org/Robostix_i2c_bootloader I saved the link into my development home dir. From this I transfered it onto the gumstix. Finally I did this: root@gumstix-custom-verdex:~$ uisp --erase --upload if=i2c-Boot-m128-16MHz.hex Atmel AVR ATmega128 is found. Erasing device ... Reinitializing device Atmel AVR ATmega128 is found. Uploading: flash root@gumstix-custom-verdex:~$ The red led doesn't flash it just stays on. I have programmed the fuses and also have the pull up resistor in place and the jumpers. I also soldered a wire in place(power_pdf detail 2) to fix the power problem I was having due to crappy crimping.
