Hey Folks.. I have 6 of verdex-pro boards now, with the associated network card. I'm powering the board off of a gumstix power supply, plugged into the network board. When I power up the board, the mmc card will randomly go into read only mode. This can and does happen after boot, as well, i.e., I've booted the device, mounted the card, opened files and started writing. At some point after that, the card decides it's read only, and I can't open any more files for writing! This of course, plays major havic with my programs. Anyone else have this problem, or does anyone have an idea on how to get this to stop? Anyone from Gumstix reading this? I have 6 cpu boards, and I've tried manufacturers of 2G cards from Transend, SanDisk, and Kingston... they all seem to do the same thing. Randomly. So far, it looks like if I can get past the first 5 minutes of run time, it doesn't do it again... but... The mounting options I'm using are: /dev/mmcblk0p1 /media/card auto rw,users,umask=000,defaults 0 0 Any clues would be appreciated! Jason -- |++++ Divide By Cucumber Error.
