I was trying to upgrade my libc6 package from 2.5 to 2.7 and then the gumstix just completely crashed! I think what happened is ipkg install started over-writing kernel files :/ What do I have to do to fix this? reinstall the kernel? reflash it? or does it need to be sent to the factory??? help please!! this is the error i get now when i try to reboot: XScale iWMMXt coprocessor detected. VFS: Mounted root (jffs2 filesystem). Freeing init memory: 148K Kernel panic - not syncing: No init found. Try passing init= option to kernel. And this is the log from when i tried installing the newer libc6 package: root@gumstix-custom-verdex:~$ ipkg install libc6_2.7-18_arm.deb Upgrading libc6 on root from 2.5-r7 to 2.7-18... libc6: unsatisfied recommendation for locales libc6: unsatisfied recommendation for glibc-doc /tmp/ipkg-VZMdMo/libc6-XNwcHs/preinst: /tmp/ipkg-VZMdMo/libc6-XNwcHs/preinst: 110: dpkg: not found head: invalid option -- c BusyBox v1.2.1 (2008.05.12-17:22+0000) multi-call binary Usage: head [OPTION]...
