[Gumstix-users] Problem setting lan on gumstix Verdex X6LP

When i set the ip address on both my computer and gumstix
Ubuntu linux PC
192.168.1.11
255.255.255.0

gumstix
192.168.1.10
255.255.255.0

but ping is giving host unreachable

Can any body tell me which cable to use i mean cross or straight currently i
am using straight cable any suggestion.
