In gumstix-oe/extras/cf-root.

You need 2 files on the fat partition - the gumstix-factory.script and
the kernel Uimage

uboot checks for the existence of the gumstix-factory.script on the SD
card and if it is found will boot according to the commands therein.

Note its not a text file - it has some code prepended.
