Hi, for info regarding the Create's encoder, check out the iRobot FAQ and support forum. You might get a lot of hits there. http://createforums.irobot.com/irobotcreate/ For other sensor info - I'd suggest going to the gumstix mail archive and searching on sensor and see what you come up with.
