Here is an odd one. I built a small executable on my development system called sermotor. I sftp'ed it onto the gumstix into /home/root. An ls shows it is there and executable: root@lionel:~$ ls -l -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 5004 Mar 27 22:05 hello -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 262 Mar 28 16:41 hloff -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 253 Mar 28 16:41 hlon -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 9779 Mar 28 16:39 sermotor A file shows it is a correctly built arm executable: root@lionel:~$ file * hello: ELF 32-bit LSB executable, ARM, version 1 (SYSV), dynamically linked ( uses shared libs), not stripped hloff: Bourne shell script text executable hlon: Bourne shell script text executable sermotor: ELF 32-bit LSB executable, ARM, version 1 (SYSV), dynamically linked ( uses shared libs), not stripped But when I try to run it, I get this error root@lionel:~$ ./sermotor -sh: ./sermotor: not found Anyone got a clue what is going on here? Thanks! Bill |
