"So is the limitation in the consoleLCD controller board?" I have been wondering this same question for a while. I own a Gumstix and was considering buying a LCD pack but have been hearing a lot of problems with the 18 bit. Anyone know if the new Goliath board is going to have this same problem? I was planning on running Qutopia and it seems like a waist to calculate 18 bit color and then smash it down to 16 at the very end. -Marq Jeremy-47 wrote: > > I'm not a gumstix user (yet) but I have a one-off hobby project for which > I'm considering it.
