Hi Tim, On more recent buildroots this is what I need to do to get audio working: modprobe snd-soc-gumstix modprobe snd-mixer-oss modprobe snd-pcm-oss then make sure the volume is set with aumix: aumix -i 100 aumix -v 100 Also, I've used madplay to play mp3s, and bplay to play wavs, although it very well may be possible to do with madplay.
