Hi Robert, The problem I am facing is that the ALSA is simply not working. Despite of=20 applying all the patches, ideas posted here in the mailinglist. Currently I gave up on using ALSA, and went back to using OSS again. OSS is=20 working for me after manually applying the soundpatch .
