Hi, I managed to collate all the object files required by the i2c-io program in= to one shared library, I also collated all the headers used by this program= into one (just by #including them all - just the i2c stuff, not the standa= rd library headers!). I used this library and header to compile a shared li= brary for tcl that allowed me to use commands from within tcl that accessed= the underlying i2c api layer. This all works great. Next step... threads. I wanted to use the tcl threading extensions so that = I could have multiple threads controlling various aspects of a robot, with = things like calls to the i2c layer being synchronised and so on. Unfortunat= ely the default build of tcl that the buildroot builds is not built with th= e --enable-threads option in the tcl ./configure script. Is there an easy way to have the tcl configure script that the buildroot us= es have the --enable-threads option set ? Regards, EJ |
