If you reach 17 MHz, I would love to hear about it.  It might
be just a matter of configuring the memory controller properly.

DMA is definitely available (you just program the DMAC to
read/write from CF memory space), but you cannot let the
peripheral trigger the bursts, unless maybe you pick the
DREQ signal from the 60-pin connector.
