When I first got my gumstix everything worked great (about a year ago) I had a basix400xm and a gpstix. Recently usbnet has not worked. In my case it may have to do with a power issue, specifically using usb to power the board does not provide enough current. There is a trace you can cut on the gpstix that disconnects usb from the power in but once I cut it I will have to use wall power instead of usb. Not sure if this helps. On some PC's it s reasonably reliable on others it only stays up for 30 seconds and requires the USB cable to disconnected and then reconnected before another connection can be made. I have tried different kernel builds including the latest without noticeable difference. I have checked everything I could think off on the Windows side, firewall is off , network setting etc. I have scoured the Internet for any suggestion without success. > > If anyone has had success with USBnet I would appreciate any suggestion on getting a stable connection on any Windows XP. > > Our new product relies using USBnet to access the internal gumstix web server for status and configuration, ethernet is not a option. > > Henry Beblo > > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Take Surveys.
