I think that the lcd pinouts on the breakout-gs can be used for GPIO if you don't need an LCD. Schematics for the breakout-gs is here http://pubs.gumstix.org/boards/BREAKOUT-GS/PCB00011-R901/ On 2/16/07, David Hearn <da...@sw...> wrote: > > I'm trying to work out the combination of boards I need to get a serial > port, a USB port, an ethernet port and access to 8+ GPIO lines and I'm a > bit confused about which board I need for the GPIO. > > This says the breakout-gs "*Breaks out a series of GPIO lines through > twenty-four 50mil pitch holes"* > http://gumstix.com/store/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=31&products_id=140 > > But then http://docwiki.gumstix.org/Expansions#breakout-gs doesn't > mention any GPIO lines on this board. > > So I looked at the Audiostix2 as > http://docwiki.gumstix.org/Expansions#audiostix2 says (filtered out > stuff I don't need): > > * 38 PXA-GPIO lines > * 10 UCB1400 - GPIO lines > * 2 TTL level serial ports > * mini-B USB client <http://docwiki.gumstix.org/USB_client> socket > > This seems promising with regard to the GPIO lines, however when I look > at > http://gumstix.com/store/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=31&products_id=158 > I see "Audio in/out, USB client, 4 GPIO".
