Hi Craig, Thanks for your help. I found the instruction on this page http://docwiki.gumstix.org/Display, under "Setting up the framebuffer on gumstix". I'll try building a clean buildroot and then using your commands to customize the kernel. I thought every packages included would work, and that it was a problem of mine if it didn't :) For me microwin and Xfree compile partly if I use the -i option with make, but I have seen people over the net using microwin with the gumstix... The gcc 4.1.1 is marked experimental, does that mean I should avoid using it ? Also on the host machine is there a special requirement for gcc (old or new version ?) ?
