I too am also evaluating this system for sensor input. Right now, I am intrigued by the opportunity to connect multiple robostix to the same serial port using the SNAP system as detailed in the wiki. I was thinking that since the robostix has it's own microcontroller that I could program it to capture samples and just send it to the main program when a buffer is full. Has anyone ever done this? Also, are there any standard libraries for a robostix running standalone that contain ADC conversion, GPIO control, and serial communication routines? What special tools are required to develop a standalone robostix (I saw something about an ISP connector but wasn't quite sure)? If you plug the robostix directly into the gumstix through the Hirose connector, does it disable the robostix microcontroller from booting? > > 1. Netstix - seems like a stand alone, small SBC.
