My Gumstix recently complained while I was scp'ing a file over to it, and the flash file system was corrupt. (Original error messages are no longer available; I didn't think they would become permanent.) I decided to erase the image and burn in a fresh file system image, but it's not working out so well. Here's the bottom part of what I've tried (yes, this is a 16MB flash Gumstix): =20 GUM> protect on 1:0-1 Protect Flash Sectors 0-1 in Bank # 1 .. done GUM> erase all Erase Flash Bank # 1 - Warning: 2 protected sectors will not be erased! ........................................................................ ........ .............................................. done GUM> tftp a2000000 rootfs Using MAC Address 00:0A:95:A5:47:3A Using SMC91C1111-0 device TFTP from server 10.10.10.230; our IP address is 10.10.11.10 Filename 'rootfs'. I've tried the procedure a few times and received the same results. =20 Thanks....
