I was never able to get the transfer to work via Kermit in linux. had to use hyperterm, and Dave pointed out that the HyperTerm Kermit implementation is not so good. wish I could find my procomm+ for dos disks! _____ From: gum...@li... Subject: [Gumstix-users] replacing filesystem trouble i'm following the replacing the fs tutorial, and have hit a snag: attempting to transfer the image to the gumstix via ckermit. i have connectivity to the gumstix, stop the boot up process and am at the GUM prompt. i set the gumstix into receive mode (loadb a2000000). ctrl+\+c to get back to the host box and start the transfer of the image (send root_fs_arm_nofpu.jffs2). it hangs. a few minutes later it times out and says no packets were sent, no errors were encountered. has anyone experienced this? thanks. |
