[Gumstix-users] Wanted: Microphone amp circuit

I'm interested in connecting two microphones (probably cheap electret  
elements) to the line-in on the Roboaudioadjectivestix board.  (I'm  
looking forward to how long these names get as we add features.)

My experience with the UCB1400 is limited to its use in the iPaqs  
from years back; I have to assume I'll need an amplifier to raise the  
microphone signal to line level.  I'm a software guy, and analog's  
still a mystical area of electronics to me.

I have to assume someone on the list has done this; can someone send  
me a pointer to a circuit?
