Hi Everyone, How does one create virtual audio usb interface devices within a gumstix? I would like to be able to plug a gumstix into a Windows/Mac/Linux machine and have it show up as a set of generic audio devices - line in and line out as a minimum. Within the gumstix I want to be able to interact with those interfaces as I would an audiostix. The underlying idea is that I want to be able to work on audio processing algorithms (like digital EQ, convolution algorithms, etc.) "stand-alone" using a gumstix+audiostix. Then I flip a switch (real or virtual via usbnet) and use the gumstix for low-latency, hardware-accelerated audio processing on a host DAW (Cubase, Nuendo, ProTools, etc.) system. Thoughts?
