In the linux directory (after building the full buildroot), do: make ARCH=arm CROSS_COMPILE=`pwd`/../staging_dir/bin/arm-linux- menuconfig Now press key sequence: d<enter>iiii<enter>monemknonty<enter>um<esc><esc><esc><esc><esc><esc><es c><esc><enter> That will turn off the input stuff you don't need, and turn on the stuff you do need. Then: make ARCH=arm CROSS_COMPILE=`pwd`/../staging_dir/bin/arm-linux- <wait> cd ../.. make Now your root_fs will have all the modules in it. On the gumstix then after flashing the new root_fs: modprobe snd-pxa2xx-ac97 modprobe ucb1x00-ts modprobe evdev You should now have a device which shows up under /dev/input/* At least I think that's the sequence.
