Hi Dave, this is the last jhbuildrc that i had used. it places the libraries and binaries in the staging_dir of buildroot and that help in building the window manager. change the hardcoded paths to your needs. you will have to write a script for stripping the binaries and copying them to build-arm/root or do it manually. i am not able to find my scripts in this machine. will send them to you if i find them. for testing purposes try and see if you can get the buildroot tinyx to compile since it is the cleanest way to test out the xserver. For some reason, the binaries didn't end up on my gum, though they got = build on the compile machine coLinux. If I have to debug Makefiles anyway,= maybe I'm better off using the freedesktop kdrive server? > > > > Thanks, > > > > Dave Thomas > > > > > > > > > > > > ------------------------------------------------------- > > This SF.Net email is sponsored by: > > Power Architecture Resource Center: Free content, downloads, discussion= s, > > and more. http://solutions.newsforge.com/ibmarch.tmpl > > _______________________________________________ > > gumstix-users mailing list > > gum...@li... > > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/gumstix-users > > > |
