I don't think you can mount a JFFS2 filesystem from anything other than a physical flash memory device -- in other words, no loopback. Two easy solutions here though: 1. Mount buildroot/build_arm_nofpu/root/ via NFS (that is the directory from which the root_fs_arm gets built) 2. Create root_fs_arm with some other filesystem instead of JFFS2 -- change the "jffs2root" in the top-level Makefile to ext2root or cramfsroot and then you should be able to to the loopback mount, if you want to go that route for some reason.
