It's great to see the Robostix clocking in at $50, which will make it quite competitive. However the robostix presently doesn't have pins in its headers. This means that to use the board for many robotics tasks requires soldering in 40 (!) pins. For many hobbyists (I imagine a significant market) this can be a prohibitively difficult thing to do. How difficult would it be to offer a version of the board with pins attached? How much would it add to manufacturing cost? Sean |
