Hi, I want to verify the way how to support 18 bit display from Overo module . Can i just connect each R/G/B (7:2) from Overo to R/G/B(5:0) on the LCD, leave the low 2 bits disconnected? I wouldn't recommend disconnecting them. They should be connected to something (ground, Vcc, or another signal). The Overo is having a 24-bit LCD output and the LCD a 18-bit interface. In this case the correct approach would be to connect it as described by Wenhua and just letting the unused pins on the Overo float (or use them for something else - i.e. GPIO's in case wanted?).
