Hi! I set up my client.xml to measure response time to INVITE message like this: <define entity="traffic-param" name="data-log-period" value="1"></define> <!--define entity="traffic-param" name="data-log-number" value="1000"></define--> * <define entity="traffic-param" name="data-log-file" value="../logs/setup-delay.csv"></define>* <define entity="traffic-param" name="data-log-rtdistrib" value="3000"></define> And changed client.scenario.xml like that: <message> <!-- header --> <! [ CDATA[INVITE sip:sch...@cs... SIP/2.0 Via: SIP/2.0/UDP north.east.isi.edu From: Mark Handley <sip:mj...@is...> To: Eve Schooler <sip:sch...@ca...> Call-ID: 296...@no... CSeq: 1 INVITE Subject: SIP will be discussed, too Content-Type: application/sdp Content-Length: 187]]> <!-- body --> <![CDATA[v=0 o=user1 53655765 2353687637 IN IP4 155.208.221.173 s=Mbone Audio i=Discussion of Mbone Engineering Issues e=mb...@so... c=IN IP4 155.208.221.173 t=0 0 m=audio 3456 RTP/AVP 0 a=rtpmap:0 PCMU/8000]]> </message> <action> <!-- Store completed fields for future msg--> <store name="SID" entity="call-id"></store> <store name="VIA" entity="via"></store> <store name="FROM" entity="from"></store> <store name="TO" entity="to"></store> * <start-timer></start-timer> * </action> </send> <receive channel="channel-1"> * <action> <stop-timer></stop-timer> </action>* <message> <!-- header --> <! [CDATA[SIP/2.0 180 Ringing This scenario is supposed to measure time difference between those two messages and dump it to the setup-delay.csv file.. But it is quite strange to me that those times are so big.. Dump Periodic; 1;1; 7;1; <some text ommited> Dump Cumulative; 1;1; 3;4; 6;1; 7;5; In this example I've connected two laptops with 100Mb eth link, and also used Wireshark to measure the same time difference. However wireshark showed that there was quite constant time difference of 1.1ms. Hence my question: Are those correct times? Did someone had something like this?? Thanks in advance |
