[guj-help] Password protected chat

I need a password-protected chat-system and I've  tried installing GUJChat. It seems that the password protection has not  been correctly implemented. 
  
  As I enter a moderated chatroom I get the following error:
  
  ERROR (ChatInstance.java:91) - exception found
  java.lang.NullPointerException
          at br.guj.chat.controller.ChatController.handleRequest(ChatController.java:156)
  
  
  What's the status on password protection
