After building & running the C++ Windows applications, the SubjectAppConsole will pop up. The program reports that it is waiting 60 seconds for the application to start. However, after about a minute the program prints errors and the program crashes. The SVN code should contain an acceptable default value to prevent the program from crashing. The attached document shows the complete output from running this application for more than a minute.
The exact line the program fails on is located in the Utils.cs file on the line shown below:
// ------------
while (hWnd.Equals(IntPtr.Zero))
{
if (runningTime > Configure.DELAY_AFTER_START)
throw new Exception("Could not find " + appPath); // FAILURE: Could not find devenv
// -----------
Expected behavior:
The SubjectAppConsole should run indefinitely without crashing, and no errors should be printed.
Actual behavior:
The program reports an unhandled exception and Windows reports that the program has crashed.
Platforms:
This bug was observed in Windows XP using Visual Studio 2008 professional.
Steps to reproduce:
* Open the Visual Studio solution located at GUITAR.tool\WindowsRipper-Replayer.tool\trunk\WGUITAR-VS.sln
* Build the solution (CTRL-SHIFT-B)
