#22 variable substitution handled differently in different tags?

In my setup I use strings like exe="%portal%..\xxx\yyy\zzz.exe" to locate the exe files and that works great.

However, when doing the same with the ico tag it doesn't work - e.g. ico="%portal%..\xxx\yyy\zzz.exe" doesn't work, while ico="%portal%\zzz.exe" works just fine.

How come?

I will make some test and I will might use the function "GetFullPathName" to convert the path with ".." into the "real path".
